How are you feeling??
Well, let me tell you! It has changed over the past couple of months. First I didn't even know I was pregnant and when I found out the only thing I noticed was that I was extra tired and taking evening naps. Then week 6 hit and the nausea (a.k.a morning sickness) came. It started first thing in the morning and lasted all day. It was tough. I had no appetite and I hated pretty much everything. Only a couple of things worked like grapes, cereal, and Sonic hamburgers. I never threw up thank God, but I would gag all day. My prenatal vitamins were hard for me to take and I would have to get up to pee every night. Then I figured it out. If I kept something in my stomach then the nausea would be fine. So this meant eating all day and not giving my stomach a chance to empty. It was kind of weird being on a semi-full sort of bloated stomach, all day. Then that slowly came to an end and I could look in the freezer again, cook for my husband and venture out into other food categories. Now I'm cool with everything in the food department and don't wake up in the night to pee. Instead my favorite thing is to say "I pulled a uterus". I sleep on the couch a lot since I get lower back pain when I sleep on the bed. Not sure what that is about. Bought a body pillow to see if that would help. I get hungry a lot and have to pack double the lunch and snacks than what I'm used to for work. Everyone always finds me in the kitchen/break room. My pants/bottoms don't fit me anymore so I'm constantly saying goodbye to them hoping to fit in them later. The only time I gag now is when I brush my teeth and if I start to get hungry. I don't think I have cravings, I'm actually more picky than anything. It's so funny, there have been two times that Gilbert and I had to drive around San Marcos looking for a place to eat! He was okay with anything, I however, thought nothing sounds good, but I need to eat!
